THE CASE IS VIRTUALLY WATER PROOF AND DURABLE PLASTIC THAT WONT ALLOW WATER IN DEFINITE BUY

I bought this camera case because we were going to St. Lucia and I didn’t want to buy disposable underwater cameras. I was a bit sceptical at first, but tested it at home and decided to try it. It worked perfectly. In fact it was so good that I kept my camera in the case for the whole week. It was a lot of fun jumping into the water and being able to take pictures, it floats too so the two times it came off my head I found it right away. I then lent it to a friend who went to Belize for a week and she had the same experience (that she left her camera in the case for convenience sake).
I would recommend it as a great alternative to disposable cameras. You get to use your camera, don’t have to buy the expensive disposables and it really works.

I used this camera housing in the Florida Keys snorkeling. It worked great. No leaks down to about 10 feet. Good pics considering the water clarity. I like the flexibility of this housing . You can press all of the buttons on your camera if needed where with the generic hard cases you can only press the shutter release. I used it with a Nikon Coolpix L19. I will use this housing from now on when I go fishing, kayaking or anytime I use my camera near water.
